RONALD LEE "SAL"
On Thursday, December 4, 2025, Ronald Lee Salamon, of Bellevue, peacefully passed away, at the age of 83. Son of the late John and Mary (Lapiska) Salamon; beloved husband of 57 years to Kathy Salamon; loving father of Michael (Jennifer) Salamon, Marlene (Scott) Story and Erin Salamon; brother of Judy (Ed) Appelt; grandfather of Christopher Story, Roman Salamon, Cameron Story and Oliver Salamon; uncle of James Wadding and many other nieces, nephews and cousins; also survived by his loving grand-dogs, Sally, Baxter, Bailey, Cali and Zona. Sal was a retired Bellevue Borough Police Officer, where he served for 33 years. Following his retirement, he was an electrician with Allegheny City Electric. He will be famously remembered as the ranger at Treesdale Golf Course that denied Kevin Colbert's request to play ahead of a foursome. Sal was an avid golfer, he loved golfing at Pymatuning, he loved his cottage, fishing, cigars and beer, but most of all he loved his family. He was a veteran of the US Army. Family and friends will be received 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME INC., 460 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Regina Coeli Parish, Church of the Assumption, Bellevue.
