RONALD LEO

Ronald Leo Laffey passed away peacefully, on February 9, 2026, at the age of 73.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ron was deeply rooted in the city he loved. He was the former owner of Ron Laffey's Flowers, where he spent years bringing beauty and joy into the lives of others through his work. Later, he retired to devote himself fully to what mattered most to him, his family.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Christine; his children, Alex and Christian; and his cherished grandchild, Carter.

Ron had a deep love for his family, his cat, Midnight, and the many friends who were lucky enough to know him. He was kind, loyal, and endlessly forgiving. Despite losing his sight nearly four years ago, Ron remained remarkably positive, meeting life with grace, humor, and quiet strength. Above all else, he loved his children fiercely and whole-heartedly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Christ Church at Grove Farm, 249 Duff Road, Sewickley, PA 15143. In honor of Ron, the family invites attendees to wear bright colors as a symbol of joy and of Ron's renewed ability to see again.

Ron's warmth, optimism, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved him.
