RONALD WILLIAM

Ronald "Ron" William Feller, age 90, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, died peacefully on Friday, September 5, 2025. He was born in 1935 in Alliance, Ohio to Earl Feller and Hazel "Wilda" Taylor. Ron grew up in a lively small town with his younger brothers, Bruce Feller (deceased), Robert "Bob" Feller, and sister, Judy (Feller) Morris. He attended Alliance High School and Ohio State University, where his love of ice cream led him to obtain a degree in dairy technology. While at Ohio State, Ron played football his freshman year, married his lifelong love, Marjon (Menster) Feller (deceased), and created their family with a son, Stephen Feller (deceased) and daughter, Marjorie "Margie" Feller. He would go on to lead several dairies in Ohio, as well as manufacturing plants across the country. Ron and Marjon retired early to their beloved Sarasota, Florida, where they enjoyed twenty years of fun and relaxation with friends who became their "Florida family". Ron stayed busy as a devoted volunteer, president, and board member for Habitat for Humanity of Sarasota, as well as spending time golfing, becoming an expert at genealogy, and hosting his grandchildren, Daniel Feller and Lindsay (Feller) Seal, for visits. Ron spent his final decade living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he had a big influence on the lives of his great-grandchildren, Lily Seal, Griffin Seal, and Gabriel Feller. He grew to love Pirates baseball and made many close friendships with both his neighbors and the staff at Providence Point. Ron and Marjon loved traveling the world, trying new restaurants, and playing backgammon nightly to decide who would do the dishes. Known as Sal, Grandpa Ron, and Pop Pop to those who loved him, Ron will be remembered for his charisma, love of life, and eagerness to help others. Funeral services will be private.
