ROSABEL "ROSE" S.

Rosabel "Rose" S. Framiglio, formerly of Pleasant Hills and Jefferson Hills, passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 94, at Passavant Community in Zelienople.

Rose was born on August 24, 1931, in Hocking County, Ohio. As a young girl, she moved with her family to Toledo, Ohio. Rose attended Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, where she studied music. After marrying her husband, John Framiglio, in 1952, they moved to Pittsburgh where they raised their family and were active in their church and the community of Pleasant Hills. Rose worked for many years at Mellon Bank, Union National Bank and Key Bank in Pleasant Hills as a bank teller. Afterwards, she was the Treasurer and Business Manager at Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church. Rose also volunteered in the Stephen Ministry and Meals on Wheels.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, John. She is survived by her children John Framiglio, Jr., Lisa Buechele (Richard), Mark Framiglio (Jeanette) and Gina Hess (Keith). She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Wilma Smart, brother, Jesse Warren, sister, Ruth Trolz, daughter-in-law, Lucy Framiglio and granddaughter, Jackie Oren.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hills Church, 199 Old Clairton Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in memoriam to Pleasant Hills Church.
