ROSEANNA MARIE
On Sunday, June 21, 2026, Roseanna M. Downey, age 83, passed peacefully in her sleep. A retired RN, she practiced nursing for 21 years at Allegheny General Hospital and later retired from Highmark Medical Services in 2005. She was a valued mentor to her coworkers and a source of wisdom to all whose lives she touched.
She leaves behind a daughter, Linda D. (Yaffa) Brautigam; three grandchildren, Avichai, Asher, and Arieh; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements and interment will be held privately at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests all contributions be made to Gateway Hospice, 9380 McKnight Road, Suite 201, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Arrangements by LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME, INC., Bellevue.
