Age 74, of West Mifflin, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026.



Rose was born on February 4, 1952, in Pittsburgh, PA. She was the daughter of Magnus and Anna Pauley.



Rose was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed working on puzzle books, watching old classic movies, attending services at Calvary Baptist Church, and taking weekend getaways with her beloved husband, Michael. Rose also loved attending Renaissance festivals, air shows with her family, and social gatherings where she could share laughter and make memories with those she loved most.



Rose is survived by her four children, Christine Shaffer, Sheldon Kling, Mathew (Raina) Kling, and Betsy Ross; her grandchildren, Joshua, Zackery, Mikayla, Danica, and Dorian; and sisters, Maryann Mowery and Verna Dornin.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Kling; and her parents.



Family and friends will be received on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.



A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 12 PM, in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
