ROSEMARY C.
Age 87, of Eighty Four, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, following complications from a stroke. A woman known for her warmth, generosity, and endless consideration for others. She brought kindness to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Born on June 1, 1938, in Pittsburgh, PA, Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond R. and Beatrice Rogan Crahen; husband, Michael A. Gregor; sister, Rita C. Slater (Theodore G. Slater); brothers, Ramond R. Crahen and Francis J. Crahen. She is survived by three nieces, Kristine Slater of Valley View, TX, Denise Gregor Andreis (children, Ashley and Tyler) and Dana Baker (Robert, children, RJ and Jace); and three nephews, Dave Gregor (Peggy, children, Denny and Amanda), Rob Gregor (Diane, daughter, Shelby) and Bill Bollinger (daughter, Tara).
Rosemary pursued a career with United States Steel (USX), where she worked diligently for nearly 40 years before retiring. Her dedication, work ethic and professionalism are all traits that defined every chapter of her life.
In her younger years, she enjoyed barrel racing, snowmobiling during the PA winters with her husband, doing crafts with friends and family, vacationing and of course shopping. She had a passion for fitness, yoga, walking and outdoor activities. Even in her later years, she remained active, leading an inspiring life that reflected her belief in maintaining a healthy body and a generous heart. She found deep satisfaction in maintaining her flowers and property. Her willingness to lend a hand extended to countless charitable causes and community efforts.
Rosemary's love of travel took her far beyond her rural hometown. Throughout her years, she enjoyed exploring new countries, cultures, and destinations, all of which allowed her to meet new people from all parts of the world. Most of her trips were shared with friends and family.
Those who knew her will remember her for her unshakable belief in kindness as she was always thinking of others. Rosemary built a wide circle of friends and loved ones who were very dear to her.
A Catholic Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 3609 Washington Ave., Finleyville, PA 15332, to celebrate her remarkable life on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. A lunch will follow at the Juniper Grill, 4000 Washington Rd., Peters Twp., PA 15317.
