ROSEMARY LEE (WEET)

Age 91, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Scott Twp and Baldwin Twp., on Thursday, August 14, 2025. She was born in Pittsburgh on April 9, 1934, to Herbert Peter Weet, Sr. and Jewell Rose (Stark) Weet. Loving wife for 58 years of the late James Neal Hoey; devoted mother of James H. Hoey, Jeanine M. Hoey, and Thomas P. (Lisa) Hoey; predeceased by her five siblings, Pauline H. (Irv) Heyman, Ruth M. (Lawrence) Albrecht, James H. (Sally) Weet, Herbert P. (Charlotte) and Marion L. (Michael) Elenchin Hnath; Mee Maw to Tuesday N. (Adam) Simok, Zachary T. (Drake Weigle), Matthew P. (Allie), and Emily N. Hoey; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hoey was a 1953 graduate of Elizabeth Seton High School. She worked for Bell Telephone, as a switchboard operator, until she started her family. She later worked for Landmark Savings/Integra Bank, in the loan department, and DDI International as a receptionist. She was a parishioner at St. Winifred Parish. Rosemary enjoyed an active social life, playing cards, bowling, and a yearly gambling trip to Atlantic City with her friends. She was devoted to her family, especially enjoying beach vacations. She was fun and positive, with a great attitude towards life.

Mass of Christian Burial, 10 AM, Wednesday, August 20, 2025, in SS Simon & Jude Church of St. Raphael the Archangel Parish. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
