On Saturday, January 10, 2026, Sara J. (Miller) Weigand of Avalon passed away at the age of 92. Daughter of the late Catherine (Wadlow) and Harry Miller; wife of the late Clair McHolland and the late William Weigand, Sr.; mother of Catherine (late James) Mittermeier, the late Debra (late Alan) Metz, Lynn (Richard) Salinetro, Clair D. (Shanna) McHolland, Pam (Michael) Hurt, the late Judith (Todd) Paganini, and Janice "Cookie" O'Toole; stepmother of William (late Pam) Weigand and Janice Knecthel; sister of the late Harry, Richard, and Joseph Miller; grandmother of Richard, Christopher (Jessica), Michael (Cassie), Matthew (Brittany), Eric, AC, and Nicholas; great-grandmother of Maverick, Sienna, and Cora. Sara enjoyed BINGO and baking for her family and all her friends and neighbors in her apartment building.

Friends received from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at the LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 460 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue, PA 15202. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Regina Coeli Parish, Church of the Assumption, 45 N. Sprague Avenue, Bellevue. Interment to follow in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery, Ross Township. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society (https://donate.cancer.org).
