SHAREN (BRADY)

Of Wexford, PA, passed away on Tuesday morning, June 23, 2026. She was born in Frankfort Springs, PA, on August 14, 1942. She was a graduate of South Side Beaver High School and Robert Morris. She began her career at Beecham Products in 1974, which after several mergers and acquisitions became GSK (formerly GlaxoSmithKline). She held many positions during her 32 years with the company, including Corporate Meeting Manager, where she was a recipient of the annual Michael Cosseboom Award and retired as Financial Manager. After retiring, Sharen worked part-time in retail and volunteered at a crisis center for abused women in the North Hills of Pittsburgh.

Sharen enjoyed traveling, reading, crocheting and especially spending time and making memories with her husband, family and friends.

She is survived by her best friend and husband of 22 years, Santo Laquatra; children, Kim Zbilut (Paul), Glen Brady (Paula); granddaughter, Addison Brady; stepdaughter, Rachel Spence (Chris); her sisters, Carol Reed (Hub) and Ginger Doak. Also survived by her nieces, Tami Lynn Reed (R. Lombard), Stephanie Harvey (Beau); and nephew, John Reed; as well as grandnieces, Brittany Farrell, Abby Angus, Mackenzi Angus, Zoey Horne and Megyn Horne; and great-grandnephews, Michael and Grant Farrell. She was predeceased by her parents, Ruth and Dwight Harper; brother-in-law, Tom Doak; and nephew, Donald Doak.

Family and friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. until the time of a funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Toni Harrrington, at 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in SLATER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES INC. OF BURGETTSTOWN, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021.
