SHARON ANN (HENNESSY)
Age 74, on Sunday, June 14, 2026. Born April 25, 1952, in Evanston, IL., daughter of the late Gloria and Richard Hennessy; wife of the late Douglas Conquest; mother of Richard and Matthew Conquest and her late loving daughter, Leslie Marie, who passed away in 2022; grandmother of Alyssa, Nicholas, Rachel, Tori, Ben, Jack, Audrey, Henry and Jaxon; great-grandmother of Zayn and Faris and one future great-grandchild; sister of Gloria Zubek and the late Colleen Stringer; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sharon was raised in Flint, MI and was a graduate of St. Michael High School. She then went on to graduate from Hurley Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology in 1972. Sharon married Douglas on January 2, 1972, at St. Robert's Church in Flushing. She worked at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, MI for over 20 years as an obstetrical ultra sonographer, a job that she absolutely loved. Sharon was a Girl Scout leader for Leslie's troop and enjoyed camping and Girl Scout activities. She enjoyed traveling, cruises and camping with her family. Her grandchildren were the most treasured joy in her life. Family and friends will be received at LAUGHLIN CREMATION & FUNERAL TRIBUTES, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Sunday from 1-4 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Michael the Archangel Parish - St. Bernard Church on Monday at 10:00 AM. Private burial in Flushing, MI.
