SUSAN CLAIR MUS

On April 10, 2026, Susan Clair Mus Manesiotis, age 79, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Franklin Park, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family.

Susan was the beloved and devoted wife of Gregory L. Manesiotis, Sr., with whom she shared 59 wonderful years of marriage. She was a loving and dedicated mother to Gregory L. and Joy Manesiotis Jr. and Melissa Mus Manesiotis and Matthew Ferrari; treasured sister of Louis G. and Donna Manesiotis, Jr.; aunt to Lisa Manesiotis (Marc) Hutchinson; and very proud and much cherished grandmother to Joseph Manesiotis, Megan Manesiotis, and Massimo Ferrari. By far Susan's greatest joy and deepest pride were always found in her family.

Born in Grosse Pointe, MI, Susan was the only child of her loving parents, Victor and Audrey (Jackson) Mus. After moving to Pittsburgh, she attended and graduated from North Allegheny High School.

Susan valued her family above all else, and her happiest moments were those spent together, including time with her beloved pets. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, quiet resounding strength, effortless elegance, and understated humor. She had a natural ability to turn any place she was into a warm and welcoming home for all that entered.

Her extreme kindness, empathy and grace brought comfort to all who knew her. Susan's legacy of love will live on in the family she cherished so deeply.

Pittsburgh services will be private. A celebration of life is planned for Sarasota in May.
