SUZANNE MYERS
Age 88, beloved figure of Pittsburgh's North Hills area, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her daughters, on May 19, 2025. Suzanne's life was richly lived in service, teaching and leadership. Ever a passionate activist, she worked tirelessly for meaningful causes, including the Unitarian Universalist Church of North Hills, League of Women Voters, Pittsburgh Interfaith Impact Network, Fair Districts PA, West Virginia Highlands Conservancy and the North Area Environment Council. She never gave up her firm belief that a better world is achievable.
Suzanne's memory lives on with her daughters, Johanna Broughton Walker and Carolyn Broughton; and grandchildren, Sam Robyn Walker and Lexa B Walker. She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert Broughton; second husband, Richard Margerum; sister, Nancy Myers; and her parents, Harry Marcus Myers and Mae Mann Myers.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of North Hills, on Saturday, June 28, at 1 p.m.
