MOSES

THEODORE "TED"

Theodore "Ted" Moses passed away peacefully, on March 25, 2026, at the age of 80.

He was born February 24, 1946, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, son of Charles Peter and Isabella (Golad) Moses. He graduated from South Side High School, class of 1964.

Ted spent a few years in San Francisco, before returning to reside in the South Side neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

A true Renaissance man, Ted had a wide range of talents: writer, artist, dancer, actor and magician, to name a few. He loved visiting the many local South Side establishments and was a regular at the iconic Beehive Coffee House, a gathering place for local artists and residents. He is remembered for his charisma, quick wit and kindness. He often found ways to offer advice and support when needed most.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Patty (Moses) Gallo, Gloria (Moses) Canon; and brothers, Peter and Eugene Moses.

Surviving are his nieces, Jaye (Gallo) Molzer and Cheryl (Gallo) Trapolsi; and great-nephews, Victor Trapolsi, Joe Ketter, Tyler Ketter and Daniel Ketter.

"Never inspire to hurt; always inspire to heal." - Ted Moses

A memorial gathering will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by BEINHAUER FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES AND CREMATION SERVICES
