Of Valis, NC, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 78. Born in Wentorf, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Ivan and Genowefa Rud; beloved wife of 50 years of the late Richard Szalkay; mother of Richard J., William M., and the late Melissa Szalkay; grandmother of Alex and Michael. Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120, on Saturday, July 25, from 2 - 4 P.M.
