BARLOW
THOMAS E.
Age 97, formerly of Dravosburg and West Mifflin and now of Tennessee, died on March 3, 2025. Tom had been a long-time resident of Dravosburg.
Married for 57 years to his beloved wife, the late Marilyn (Crilley) Barlow; he was the son of the late Samuel and Gladys Barlow. He is survived by his children and spouses, Susan and Nicholas, Tom and Janet and Sharon; his grandchildren, Nick, Matt, Michael, TJ, Christopher, Arianna and Colin; and great-grandchildren, Hope, Nicholas, Hazel, Amadeo and Giada.
Tom was a life-time member of the Amity Presbyterian Church, having served as an Elder and Trustee. He was a Past Master of Homestead-Amity Masonic Lodge and also of Duquesne-McKeesport Lodge. He is a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason and a holder of the Meritorious Service Award. He was a member of the Royal Order of Scotland and a Shriner. Tom was also a proud U.S. Army Veteran.
Tom retired from the Irvin Works of US Steel after 44 years employed and as the Dravosburg Tax Collector serving the community in that position for 32 years.
One of Tom's favorite expressions was "You can take the boy out of Dravosburg, but you can't take the Dravosburg out of the boy."
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Amity Presbyterian Church of Dravosbug, PA or to the Shriners Hospital for children at 1645 W 8th St., Erie, PA 16505.
Family and friends will be received Monday, March 10, from 5:30-7:30 P.M., at the GEORGE IRVIN GREEN FUNERAL HOME, 3511 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120, (412)461-6394, where a Masonic Service (Omni Lodge #509) will take place at 7:00 P.M.
