THOMAS JOHN
Beloved husband, loving father, and proud Marine veteran, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 23, 2025, at the age of 81. After his military service, he dedicated his life to his family, always placing their needs above his own. Tom faced a brave battle with cancer, his resilience and positive spirit were an inspiration to all that knew him, he was a friend to everyone.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Judy; his three children, Kimberly Stypula, Amy Turnbull (Gregg), and Brian Stypula (Beth); along with his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren in which his legacy will live on. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Feith (the late Raymond) and Richard Stypula (Arlene). Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, John and Catherine Stypula.
All are welcome on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M., WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 412-563-2800. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday 28, 2025, 10 A.M., St. Bernard Church, St. Michael the Archangel Parish, 311 Washington Rd. Interment with military honors to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
