On Wednesday, January 7, 2026, Vera Alicandri, passed away at the age of 94. Preceded in death by her parents, Filippo and Anna Alicandri; her brothers, Hugo (Maria) Alicandri, Louis J. "Gino" (Dolores) Alicandri and Ezio F. (Frances) Alicandri; and by niece, Eleanore Alicandri.

Vera is survived by many family friends. She enjoyed fashion and traveling and was a long-time employee of Joseph Horne's department store for 37 years.

Friends received from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME INC., 460 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue, PA 15202. A Blessing Service will be held 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home on Monday, January 12, 2026. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Vera's memory to Light of Life Rescue Mission (lightoflife.org).
