On Saturday, July 12, 2025, beloved wife of the late Peter P. Poland; mother of Peter J. Poland (late Karen Simon-Poland), Dennis M. Poland, and James S. Poland (Rebecca Schneid); grandmother of Peter S. Poland (Andrea), Eugenia B. Knudsen (Anders), Jennifer Wahlig (John), Carolyn O'Leary (Matthew), Dennis Poland (Lauren), James S. Poland, II, Alyson Skaggs (Thomas), Elizabeth Poland (Cullen Maag), and Kathleen Campbell (Jeremy); also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and predeceased by her parents, Veronica and James Pappas; and her sisters, Alice and Dolores Pappas. Friends will be received at JOHN A. FREYVOGEL SONS INC., 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street, on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, with Trisagion Service at 7:00 PM. Funeral, Wednesday July 16, 2025, in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, at 11:00 AM.
