VINCENT S.
Age 95, born on Pittsburgh's South Side, passed away peacefully at home on July 22, 2026. Husband of Geraldine "Gerry" Rattay (McCague). He is survived by his sons, Richard Rattay and Michael (Patricia) Rattay; and his grandchildren, Rachel (Zak) Kingdon and Luke (Sarah) Rattay from his first marriage to Theresa M. Rattay (Dziadosz), who passed away on July 30, 1994. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their children and grandchildren; and Gerry's three sons, daughter, and grandchildren.
Friends received Friday, July 31, 2026, 2-8 p.m., at the JOHN J. GMITER FUNERAL HOME, 119 South 15th Street, South Side, Pittsburgh, PA 15203. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Mary Queen of Peace Parish, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Sisters of Charity, Nazareth, KY, at https://nazareth.org/donate/.
