VIRGINIA G.

Virginia G. Noce passed away peacefully in her home, on June 26 at the age of 96. To her close friends and family, she was affectionately known as Ginny or Gina. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 54 years, Angelo John Noce and her loving parents Mary (Pasi) and Dominic Collavo, as well as four of her five sisters.

Born on March 16, 1930, Virginia lived a life marked by resilience, generosity, and a playful sense of humor. Those who spent time with her often spoke of her ability to make others feel seen and valued, whether through a quiet gesture, a thoughtful word, or her habit of never forgetting a birthday, anniversary, or any other special occasion.

After graduating from Bridgeville High School, she worked as an Administrative Assistant for Universal-Cyclops Steel Company in Bridgeville. She was a fashion model, enjoyed ice skating, and later in life, tap dancing. Gina was active in Windover Hills Women's Club, Crossgates Women's Club, and Pittsburgh Models Club.

Virginia is survived by her children Joyce A. Woods (David) of Fox Chapel, PA, Dr. Virginia M. Noce of Plantation, FL, and Mark A. Noce (Shelly) of Meadowlands, PA. She also is survived by three grandchildren - Erin O'Donnell-Norris (Jonathan), Sean O'Donnell (Margaret), and Angelo James Noce, and one great-grandson, Dresden the son of Erin, who will continue to carry her love and spirit forward.

There are no viewings, though all are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on July 14 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Benedict the Abbot Church, 120 Abington Dr., McMurray, PA 15317. Interment is private. In honor of Virginia's generous heart and in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a heart or diabetes related charity of your choice.

Her memory will remain a blessing for all who knew her.
