W. SCOTT

W. Scott Rubright, 72, passed away on August 9, 2026, after a brief and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his beloved wife and high school sweetheart of 52 years, Kathleen Rubright; son, Matthew (Abby) Rubright; daughter, Jennifer (Kevin) Neale; Grandchildren, Todd Rubright and Lexi Rubright; Sisters, Gloria (the late Edward) Rhodes and Susan (Morris) Garrett; Sister-in-law, Patti (Bob) O'leary; and many nieces and nephews. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Betty Lou Rubright, and brother, Todd J. Rubright.

Scott retired from K.T. Grant after 30 years of service. He volunteered his time doing many community projects, which are on display at the Export Train Station. He enjoyed restoring all different type of equipment, with the latest being a 1976 Ford Dump Truck. Scott loved fishing but, his greatest joy in life was his family.

Family and friends will be received on August 22, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at Holiday Park United Methodist Church (81 Sandune Dr., Plum, PA), where a memorial service will follow.
