WALLACE "WALLY"

Wallace "Wally" Edgecombe, Jr. passed away on Saturday, January 31, at the age of 82, after a brief illness. Wally was the son of Wallace and Ruth Edgecombe; husband to Ellen, father of John Edgecombe and Carolyn Smith; and grandfather of James Edgecombe and Evan and Brady Smith.

Wally earned a history degree from Allegheny College, a masters in business administration from Eastern Michigan University, and a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh, prior to becoming a partner at the Kirkpatrick and Lockhart law firm.

In retirement, Wally was a longtime member of Sewickley Heights Golf Club. Wally and Ellen enjoyed traveling, taking many trips to England, and were long time volunteers with Meals on Wheels.

Friends will be received at H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Perry Hwy., Pittsburgh, PA 15237, on Friday, February 6, from 2-4 and 6-8. A Funeral will be held on Saturday, February 7, at Hiland Presbyterian Church, 845 Perry Hwy., Pittsburgh, PA 15229, at 1:30 P.M.
