Wayne Anthony Tarasi, 79, passed away peacefully at Cranberry Place in Cranberry Twp., Pennsylvania on June 25, 2025, after a brief illness.
Born on August 6, 1945, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Wayne is survived by his children, Christopher, Jason (Jennifer); his sister, Emily Tarasi; his three brothers, Frank Tarasi (Ellie), Raymond Tarasi (Leslie), Paul Tarasi; and his two grandchildren, Jordyn and Logan Tarasi. Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene; and his parents, Anthony and Ruth Tarasi.
He will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and deep love for his family. Wayne's legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the memories shared by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at THOMAS P. KUNSAK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 3552 California Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15212. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in Christ Our Savior Parish (St. Cyril of Alexandria Church). Entombment will follow in Christ Our Redeemer Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to: Light of Life Rescue Mission.
