WILLIAM "BILL" F.

William "Bill" F. Cook, of Green Tree, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the age of 78.

Born on May 30, 1948, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Bill was the son of William and Rose (McCormick) Cook. A devoted father, brother, and friend, he is survived by his daughter, Nicole, and her husband, Jon Cluck, and their son, Leo; his daughter, Kelly Harbach, and her husband, Jon Harbach, and their children, Aubrey and Gibson; his sister, Rosemary; his niece, Christina; and his grandniece, Marlena. He is also survived by his former wife, Mary O'Connor, with whom he remained close throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rose Cook, and his brother, James Cook.

Bill will always be remembered as a kind and gentle man who deeply loved and cared for his family. He treasured the time he spent with his many close friends, whether playing golf or watching the Pittsburgh Penguins and college football. His warmth and quiet spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Blessing Service at BALL FUNERAL CHAPEL, INC., 600 Dunster Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15226.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bill's memory to the American Cancer Society.
