Age 87, of Gibsonia, died on August 22, 2025. Born on January 28, 1938, in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Albert Wolverton and Annamae Dickel Wolverton Sellers. Beloved husband of the late Susan A. Prichard Wolverton. Loving father of Suzette Parker (Wayne) and Gary Wolverton (Judy). Dear grandfather of Dani Wolverton and Hayla Parker.



An U.S. Army Veteran, Bill was a retired Sergeant from the Allegheny County Police Department. He taught at the Allegheny and Beaver County Police Academies, was a licensed Private Investigator, served as a supervisor for EMS, and was Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator and Deputy Fire Marshall in Richland Township. He was a member of John E. Mair Lodge 729 F.& A.M., Syria Shrine, Caravan 19, Yacht Club, Hill Billies, and served one year as Ambassador Co-Chair. A motorcycle enthusiast, he was a member of the Masonic Motorcycle Club and President of Blue Knights Motorcycle Club. Also, Bill was a member of the American Legion Post # 548. Most of all, he was a devoted husband, father and adoring grandfather whose life centered around his family.
