WILLIAM J.

Age 84, of Gibsonia and Crafton Heights, peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026. Son of the late William and Lucille (Albrecht) Eberhardt.

Beloved husband for 58 years of the late Lois R. (Grimm) Eberhardt; loving father of Kim (John) Logan, Kathy (Randy) Butter, Karen (George) Dorow, Kris (David) Okuda, Billy Eberhardt, Joe Eberhardt, and Kelly (Christian) Keesey; proud grandfather of Josh, Zach, Matt, Mike, Melissa, Joe, Jess, Megan, Brienne, Ryan, Alexandra, Madelyn, and Lilly; great-grandfather of Will; brother of Robert (Maryann) Eberhardt.

Bill was the first in his family to attend college, earning his bachelor's degree from Case Western Reserve University and then his master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He dedicated more than 30 years to U.S. Steel as a chemical engineer. He had a lifelong love of golf, bowling, fishing, and softball and was proud to have achieved three holes-in-one and a perfect 300 bowling game. Nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his grandchildren, whether attending their activities or simply enjoying visits together. He was a devoted husband who lovingly cared for his late wife throughout her illness until her passing.

Family will welcome friends on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 388 Center Avenue, West View, PA 15229. A blessing service will be held Wednesday, July 1], 2026, at 1 p.m. at Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery, 4629 Bakerstown Road, Gibsonia, PA 15044.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Ridgecrest of McCandless and Commonwealth Hospice for the exceptional care, kindness, and support they provided the past five years.
