WILLIAM LOYAL "BILL"

William Loyal "Bill" Warren, age 87, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of faith, generosity, entrepreneurship, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. He believed that the greatest investment a person could make was not in buildings or businesses, but in people—a conviction that shaped every chapter of his remarkable life.

For more than 64 years, Bill shared a beautiful marriage with the love of his life, Gail Warren, whom he cherished, faithfully served, and walked beside through every season of life. Together they built not only a family, but a legacy that will continue for generations.

Bill is lovingly survived by his wife, Gail Warren; his children, Renee Russell Bodnar (Jim Bodnar), William Warren (Kimberly Warren), and Lisa Dollard (Wayne Dollard); his treasured six grandchildren, Brittney Russell, Michael Russell (Kelsey Russell), Jordan Dollard, Brenden Dollard, Scott Russell, and Tyler Dollard; and his great-granddaughter, Amelia Russell. His family was his greatest joy, and being "Pappap" was one of the roles he cherished most.

Bill's life was one of extraordinary diversity and purpose. He was an author, salesman, teacher, evangelist, alms giver, athlete, artist, entrepreneur, and real estate visionary. He authored seven books, created the beloved Bible Walk, gave generously and quietly to those in need, and encouraged countless people through his faith, wisdom, and example. Whether restoring homes, mentoring others, teaching God's Word, or praying faithfully for family, friends, and even businesses, Bill lived out his faith every day.

Those who knew Bill will remember his adventurous spirit, infectious optimism, unwavering work ethic, and the legendary "Warren Gene"—his conviction that if something was worth doing, it was worth doing now. He inspired his children, grandchildren and friends to dream boldly, work diligently, love deeply, and trust God completely.

Above all, Bill was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. His greatest passion was helping others find their way to the Lord. The Bible Walk, his books, and his daily life all reflected his desire to build pathways that led people toward faith, hope, and eternal life.

Bill's family rejoices in the promise found in Matthew 25:23: "Well done, good and faithful servant." While he will be deeply missed, his legacy lives on in every life he touched and in every path he helped others find.

Friends received Friday 12-2 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the GRIFFITH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5636 Brownsville Road (at 6th St.), South Park Twp., 412-655-4600. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine Labouré Parish - St. Louise de Marillac Church. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH ON THE DAY OF THE FUNERAL.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Cornerstone Orlando Hospice House, 46 Pennsylvania Street, Orlando, FL 32806, whose compassionate care and support were a blessing to Bill and his family during his final journey.
