WILLIAM P.
Age 87, of North Side, passed on Saturday, May 16, 2026.
Son of the late William C. Pozega and Josephine Schuchman. Beloved husband for 45 years of the late Judith (Auer) Pozega; father of Shari, John Kasko, and the late Billy Pozega; grandfather of Leah Pozega; great-grandfather of Lyla Bohling; and brother of Judith Stanton.
Services are private. Arrangements entrusted to SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, INC. (West View).
William was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and retired from the H.J. Heinz plant on Pittsburgh's North Side. He was a lifelong admirer of history, with a special passion for the Gettysburg Battlefield. He was also a devoted football fan who faithfully cheered on the Pittsburgh Steelers throughout his life.
