YVONNE (KUJAWA)

Yvonne (Kujawa) Frenock, of Jefferson Hills, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Born April 7, 1948, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth Kujawa.

Yvonne is survived by her beloved husband Stephen (Bud) of 45 years; her stepchildren, Valinda Ray and James (Rose) Frenock; step grandchildren, Matthew, Ian, Katie, Alicia and the late Kevin Frenock and seven step great-grandchildren. Also brothers, Gilbert (Donna) Kujawa and the late Dennis Kujawa and many nieces and nephews.

Yvonne was an elementary teacher for 33 years for the Dioceses of Pittsburgh in three Catholic schools in the South Hills area. Concurrently she taught 14 years in the ACLD program on Saturdays and in the summer. She was also a CCD teacher for 10 years at St. Thomas A'Becket. Yvonne enjoyed being a homemaker, baking and crafting. She also enjoyed reading and was a moderator of a Book Club at Jefferson Pointe.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Thomas A' Becket Church, 139 Gill Hall Rd., Clairton, PA 15025. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
